This special pH paper is used for confirmation of completion and quality when activating EM. The range is 2.9 – 5.2 and for Activated EM we’re looking for an ideal range of 3.2-3.5, and at least below 3.9.
Please note: Due to its narrow range, this pH paper is not suitable for measuring soil pH.
The full roll is 15 feet long, which gives you around 180 tests when using a one-inch length of paper per test (which is plenty). I also offer shorter lengths of 3 feet which yields 36 tests (or more if you’re particularly economical). Either option comes with the colour scale to determine the pH value.
Be sure to store pH paper in a cool dry location and only handle it with dry fingers, as it reacts instantly to moisture.
Bokashi consists of bran that has been fermented with effective microorganisms and then dried for easy storage.
It is used primarily in bokashi composting and as a general soil amendment.
This particular product is made right here on Vancouver Island by Plant Tonix. Larger quantities available on request.

Recommended dosage: Generally, take one tablespoon once a day. If dealing with a health concern, or having recently undergone antibiotic treatment, you can do a tablespoon twice a day. Should you experience bloating or gas, just cut back the dosage and gradually increase it again. Expect the tart, tangy flavour of a fermented beverage. Vita Biosa can be taken straight up, or diluted with water or natural juice if desired.
Upon opening, keep the bottle refrigerated with the cap on tight, and consume within one to two months. Unopened, the product has a shelf life of one year from the date of manufacture, or until the best before stamp on the bottle.
Vita Biosa’s broad-spectrum, triple-fermented formulation makes it more biodiverse than yogurt, plus it is dairy-free.
Ingredients are: Water, organic blackstrap molasses, proprietary blend of active cultures, and herbal tea made from aniseed, licorice root, fennel, basil, chamomile, chervil, dill, elder, fenugreek, ginger, angelica, juniper, nettle, oregano, parsley, peppermint, rosemary, sage, and thyme.
The active cultures include strains of lactobacillus, bifidobacterium, and lactococcus bacteria, among others.
