Ordering Organic Fertilizers

I ship with Canada Post and can ship anywhere in Canada.

(Note: I ship in Canada only, but in the U.S. you can buy organic fertilizers and microbial inoculants from Phil.)

The fees are outlined in the table further down the page. There is also a free local pickup option.

I’d like to ship for free, but then I would have to make my products much more expensive. Even at my current rates, I actually lose money on shipping.

The rates I charge are a compromise between covering some of my costs and keeping products affordable for you.

You can keep down shipping fees by optimizing your order (for example, $25 shipping gets you up to $124 worth of products, and the bigger the order, the relatively lower the fee), and by teaming up with a gardening friend (share an order and split the shipping).

I almost always ship within 24 to 48 hours. During the busiest season from March through June, it may take a couple of days longer.

Should you be wondering about your order’s delivery date, or should your order ever arrive damaged or not at all, please contact me right away by e-mail or phone.

Through Canada Post’s tracking system we can follow every parcel, every step of the way. Their service has proven very dependable during these past many years. Please note, Covid-19 related safety measures can cause delays in the system.

If you prefer to pick up your order in Victoria, BC, just choose the ‘Pick Up’ option during checkout.

Payment

You can pay with:

• Interac e-transfer (I love e-transfers!)
• Credit card online
• PayPal
• Cash/Collect on Delivery (COD) — to Canada Post. They charge $8 for this service, which will be included during checkout.
• Cash on pickup
• I also accept money order or cheque – I just need to wait for cheques to clear before I can ship.
