Organic Blackstrap Molasses

Molasses provides a very important source of carbohydrates for your microbes. It also has many macro and micronutrients. It is an essential component in activating EM and is particularly useful in a foliar feed to help the liquid stick to plant surfaces. It is therefore often applied with em, mycorrhizal fungi, compost tea, other biostimulants, and sea minerals.

It is often used to help "loosen" tightly-held phosphorus in the soil, along with liquid calcium which loosens calcium. It is also very important to combine a sugar with any liquid nitrogen, but we don't apply liquid nitrogen in organic horticulture.
