Kelp Application
Kelp is mixed with water in a watering can, sprayer, or irrigation system at a rate of 1:250. It is best applied early in the morning, while evening would be the second choice. Although the application rate is very low, it is optimal, so applying more is not better.
It is preferably applied in smaller, regular doses, such as monthly or bi-weekly. It is more commonly applied directly to the plants, but soil applications are beneficial, as well, especially in conjunction with EM. Here are some application rates:
Turf - 2 L/Ha (20mL/1000sqft)
Garden - 5mL/L of water
